Foodborne or waterborne outbreaks
Contact the environmental health services if you suspect that you have contracted food poisoning from food or water. Reporting the incident is particularly important if you know that more people have fallen ill after eating at a food establishment outside their home or if the sick individuals are from different families.
Based on the submitted reports, we will investigate the matter as a foodborne or waterborne outbreak as necessary. The quicker we get information on the incident, the better we can track the cause of the epidemic.
If you suspect that the food poisoning was caused by a food item purchased at a convenience store, do not throw away the remaining packaging. You will receive further instructions from the health control services after contacting them.
