Swimming beaches and water quality

The City of Salo has several beaches and other swimming areas where the water quality is monitored regularly.
Health inspectors take water samples from the public beaches and swimming venues once a month during the swimming season between 15 June and 13 August. The microbiological water quality of the samples is tested, and sensory observations of the water quality are made during sampling.

The results of the samples are displayed on the notice board at each swimming place and on the website of the City of Salo.
