Committees

Part of the powers vested in the municipality has been transferred to different boards and committees. They direct and develop the activities of the city departments and offices. The members of the boards and committees are elected by the City Council.

There is a representative of the City Board on each board and committee, and he or she has the right to participate in the meetings and the discussions but not in the decision-making. With some exceptions, a decision made by a board can be taken on the agenda of the City Board.
