The City Board
The City Board´s responsibilities include the management of the city administration, the preparation of the agenda of the City Council, the execution of the Council’s decisions and the supervision of the lawfulness of the Council´s decisions. The City Board also attends to the city´s interests by speaking for the city and proposing motions concerning matters they consider important.
The members of the City Board (13) and their personal deputies are elected by the City Council for a term of four years.
The City Board convenes once a week on Mondays, and the meetings are not open to the public.
